I think that was just concussion and brain damage. Not sure you were supposed to find that funny...

Re: Russell Kane
He did our annual company conference this time last year. 700 people in the room, 450+ born outside the Uk

General impression I got was that not one of the 450 understood a word he said

I got the impression he worked bloody hard but never got the act going, and just nothing got the audience laughing. It was painful in a way to watch a comedian struggle like that.

A few did like him though, which as this thread suggests is typical of his performances.

Seems very marmite

Re: Russell Kane
When he first started out doing his comedy based on his life in Southend and in particular his dad he was very funny I thought! Haven’t seen him for a while but he seems to have suited up and gone very mainstream when I have

Check out Bill Burr if you want a good comedian

Re: Russell Kane
Norman, you might not find him funny, that's fair enough, your opinion and you are entitled to that but he rips the piss out of the likes of Corbyn and Blair. In fact like any sensible person he rips the piss out of all politicians.

Actually no I can't be with the missus because I do not hate his comedy just do not find most of his observational stuff funny.

HairyHammer 1:09 Wed Mar 6
Re: Russell Kane
I am too old and find him slightly annoying rather than funny although he can be quick when he is in a conversation he was good when he did the after show in i'm a celebrity.
I think I agree with your missus but I have no doubt my kids who are over 20 would like him quite a lot.

I remember him being "The Flying Eye" on the Capital Radio Breakfast show with Chris Tarrant back in the late 80's. He's as funny as haemorrhoids!

Re: Russell Kane
Don't find him funny at all. In fact all the comedians that started out seemingly on I'm a celeb Dommett, Beckett, that Geordie fella, none I find funny at all.
